Netherlands, Scadta Consular Mail, #C55, 1929 5c Yellow orange, in mixed franking with Ecuador Scadta #C16, C17, 1930 50c Red brown and 75c Green, and National Colombian postage of 4c, all applied to pay the internal airmail and overland fees in Colombia, additionally with Dutch franking making up 2 gulden and 32½ centimes, all tied by Enkhuizen c.d.s.'s dated 10.13.1931, on large envelope with instructional endorsement for a Zeppelin carriage from Germany to Brazil, with Friedrichshafen c.d.s. at lower left, with green "Luftschiff Graff Zeppelin/3. Südamerikafahrt 1931" marking, with Brazilian transits of Recife and Belem on reverse, a very rare and fascinating mixed franking caused by a shortage of Colombian airmail stamps in the Colombian Embassy in the Netherlands.
