"Barba/Does" two-line handstamp, applied on back of 1784, June 29 folded letter from London to Barbados, reaching the Island around the end of August after having sailed from July 7, with Bishop datestamp on back, being re-addressed and sent back to London to "The care of William Dailing Esq. Merch.t", where it arrioved on March 16, Bishop mark at top, rated on both ways at 2 shillings, prepaid on departure and with charges on delivery, fine, a very scarce mail involved in a double crossing of the Atlantic.
