1857 (10 Feb.) entire to Sydney, bearing 1856-57 4d. blue (cut into at right) tied by clear "61" obliterator, showing "general post office/hobart town" c.d.s. in red below and, on reverse, "ship letter/sydney" c.d.s.; the entire with some slight soiling; also 1859 (July) envelope (218x94mm.) to London, bearing 1857-67 1d. pale red-brown pair and 4d. blue tied by light "48" obliterator with the 1d. pair additionally tied by "general post office/hobart town" c.d.s. in red and showing, on reverse, light arrival c.d.s.; left 81mm. of envelope severed and rejoined with adhesive tape
