Carriacou: 1842 (13 Aug.) entire letter from David Logan to the Rev. Doctor Tartetone in Kent advising him that he requires additional documentation before he is able to rent Mount Pleasant Estate and showing a good strike of the very rare straight-line "carriacou" handstamp and rated "1/-" and showing, on the reverse, three London transit marks (6.10). Light folding creases do not detract from this rare and important cover; one of only four recorded examples. Photo
