Straight-line Datestamp: 1800-23 group of covers with 1800 (12 Apr.) Dunlop wrapper to Ayr rated at "4/10" bearing, on reverse, a faint strike of the serif letter datestamp showing the complete year "1800" (Proud records only two examples); 1808 (6 July) entire to Ayr rated "2/4" with a good strike of the datestamp on the flap which shows part of the outer circle; 1823 (3 June) Dunlop entire to Edinburgh rated "4/10" and bearing a fair to good strike of the datestamp on the flap. Condition is a little mixed, but still a useful group. (3 coves)
