Straight-line "Grenada": 1784 (31 July) folio Dunlop entire to Ayr from Thomas Lithgow to Ayr and carried "pr The Catherina/Capt Mason" bearing, on the reverse a fair to good strike of "Grenada" partly covered by arrival notation with "14/OC" London Bishopmark alongside and a faint Edinburgh Bishopmark (18.10) in red; the address side with rate marks "9" changed to "8", "1/11" and "2/7" (total) and a good strike of "dover/ship lre". There is a re-inforced central vertical filing fold and other age wear. Photo
