Plymouth Promenade Pier & Pavilion Co. Ltd., £1 ordinary shares, 19[10], no.565, vignette of pier and pavilion at top, black. Work began in 1883 of this 480 foot pier. In 1891 a pavilion was added. In faninacial difficulties after WWI, bombed in WWII and demolished in 1953. Together with other Plymouth related certificates comprising plymouth Proprietary Library, share no.33, 18[1901], early style piece with arms at top, black; Plymouth Club Ltd., £5 share, 187[8], no.850, black and Plymouth Repertory PLayers Ltd., 10/- shares, 19[30], no.643, red and black, generally very fine.
