The company took over the car production activities of the company Gräf & Stift in 1907. It produced high quality cars and was called the "Austrian Rolls Royce". Erzherzog Ferdinand was assassinated in a 28/32 HP travelling through the town of Sarajewo. During WWI, the company was exclusively producing for the Imperial army. Car production was discontinued in 1938s.
