This textile and corsage factory of the purveyor to the court, Leopold Landeis, was founded in 1875. Until 1914, it employed up to 2500 workers and was one of the largest textile factories in the whole Monarchy. In 1909, it became an Aktiengesellschaft. In 1934, it was liquidated.
