After the foundation of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, this Unification loan regrouped all existing debts of 2.6 billion Gulden into one loan. It was issued in four parts in July, August, October and November 1868 in the exact same print design. On page 3 the text is written in the 12 additional language of the Empire. Interest on loans issued in August and November were paid in bank notes and of loans issued in July and October in hard cash / "klingender Münze".
