(x) Edward IV (first reign, 1461-1470), light coinage 1464-70, Half-Ryal, 3.98g, Bristol mint, m.m. crown on reverse, edward di gra rex angl z franc, king standing facing in ship, holding sword and shield, b in waves below, rev. domine ne in fvrore tvo argvas me, crowned sunburst, rose in center (Schneider 420; N.1555; S.1960), very rare, type VII, minted July 1466 to July 1467 only, a superb, lustrous example, crisp strike, slightly short of flan, about extremely fine with a good portrait, NGC graded MS-65
