A group of blocks of four with 4c. on 4ca. (a few trimmed perfs. at foot) and 5c. on 5ca. with central strikes of Shanghai Customs c.d.s., also Large Figures, Wide Setting ½c. on 3ca. (straight edge at foot) with a central strike of Shanghai Customs dated 1897 (25 Mar.), a very early date, plus Large Figures, Narrow Setting ½c. on 3ca. buff tied by a central strike of Shanghai Customs c.d.s. dated 1897 (25 May) the earliest date we have recorded for any Narrow Setting stamp.
