1897 (7 May) envelope to I.M. Customs, Canton bearing vertical pair of Large 2c. on 3c. tied by a good strike of Customs Shanghai c.d.s. and, bearing on the reverse, a good strike of the large double-oval " imperial post office/canton" dated oval (13.5) in bluish and delivery characters. The envelope has a couple of folding creases at the very left and top. Fresh and attractive. The Canton oval datestamp is extremely scarce
