1879 (2 Apr.) opened out envelope from the Peruvian Legation in Peking bearing 3ca. deep red [12] showing the weak corner positional variety, cancelled by Peking seal in blue and bearing, on the reverse, "i.g. of customs/peking" c.d.s. in blue, Tientsin Customs c.d.s. (4.4) and (5.4) plus Shanghai Local Post arrival (10.4) and pencil delivery characters plus most of the legation red wax seal. A fine and appealing cover
