1884-1954 British-Indian Post Office collection of 89 covers starting with an 1884 Postal entire with "D" in Bars cancel (Hellrigl type B13), then an 1888 Postal entire to Calcutta with small "Nepal/AU 31 81" c.d.s. (Hellrigl type B26), several late 19th century covers with Nepal squared circle postmarks (Hellrigl type B14), two are registered with h.s. "Registered" markings (Hellrigl type B49), the rest are in the Kings Edward VII, George V. and VI periods with a couple in the Queen Elizabeth period, there are a variety of usages including many registered covers, includes a number of different registration labels including a very rare black Hellrigl type 1a handstamped registration label, lots of different markings are found including postage due handstamp markings and Kathmandu exchange markings, plus British Embassy and British Legation markings and labels, all commercial legitimate mail so condition varies but many are fine to very fine; an interesting postal history lot showing how foreign mail was handled in Nepal, examine.
