Hellrigl #35, a,1917-1930 1a Blue with recut frame on native paper, imperforate, tete-beche pair, setting 27, state 2, now in the later telegraph period with heavy undefined impressions, irregular unused block of 24 consisting of two full rows 4 and 5 and a half of row 6, positions 25-44, without gum as issued, four inverted cliches are in positions 27, 37, 40 and 41,strong blue color and fresh thin paper, large sheet selvage at right and left, large full margins on the other sides as well, one vertical fold between rows, very fine and impressive multiple; extremely rare in mint multiples as noted in the lot above; the block offered here is quite likely the largest mint multiple known of the late state 2 of setting 27; 1986 Hellrigl certificate (Scott #23 var.; S.G. #26 var.; catalog values are for the earlier printings and do not apply).
