Hellrigl #20b, c, 1898-1901 1a (Dull) gray green on native paper of poor quality, pin-perforated, tete-beche pair, setting 22. two tete-beche pairs in top left partial inscription corner block of 12, positions 1-4/9-12/17-20, positions 10-11 being the inverted cliches, unused without gum as issued, this setting is unusual and easily identified by the wide space between the first and second words of the inscription, selvages are large showing the sheet frame lines, strong color, very fine; an extremely rare and key block which is probably the largest known multiple from this setting and the key marginal block that identifies this setting; described on page 98 in Hellrigl/Vignola Handbook; (Scott #18 var. a var; S.G. #19, a; £1760+).
