Hellrigl #17, a, 1898-1907 2a Grey lilac on native paper of poor quality, imperforate, complete sheet of 56, setting 21, unused without gum as issued, possessing large selvages showing the marginal markings from the frame holding the cliches, the setting is characterized by the three inverted cliches in positions 8, 9 and 19, a combination unique to this setting, includes various plate flaws for this value, nice color and fairly clear impression, light creasing mostly between rows, otherwise very fine; a rare sheet of setting 21, the last before the telegraph period, being one of only two sheets known (Scott #14,a; $3,420.00+; S.G. #16, a; £3,420+).
