Hellrigl #17, a, 1898-1907 2a Grey lilac on native paper of poor quality, imperforate, complete sheet of 56, setting 20, unused without gum as issued, possessing extraordinarily large selvages showing the marginal markings from the frame holding the cliches, the setting is characterized by the four inverted cliches in positions 7, 8, 9 and 19, a combination unique to this setting, includes various plate flaws for this value, faint crease in top row, fresh and very fine sheet; this setting was used over a period of time even into the telegraph period; four mint sheets are recorded including different shades (for a sheet in this setting in rosy mauve see below); an especially handsome example ;
