Hellrigl #12, 1889-98 2a Violet, later printings on native paper of good quality, imperforate, setting 7, positions 1/44, unused without gum as issued, a handsome top left partial inscription block of 24 (4x6), containing three constant and two progressive plate flaws, large sheet margins showing the sheet frameline at top outside the inscription, other two margins are large as well, rich color and clear impression, light horiz. fold between the third and fourth rows, very fine and a choice block; confirmed as setting 7 with different spacing in the inscription separating it from earlier settings and dash under third word separating it from later settings (Scott #8; $900+; S.G. #11; £984+).
