Hellrigl #1b, 1881 1a Milky blue, pin-perforated on European wove paper, setting 3, attractive mint single in this pale shade from setting 3, uncommonly well centered within large margins on bright white paper, full light brown original gum, extremely fine; like stamps from setting 2 virtually all the printing from setting 3 remained imperforate without gum, pin-perforated stamps from setting 3 are extremely rare (Scott #1 var., S.G. var.; in 1984 Hellrigl values this at nearly three times the normal setting 1 pin-perforated stamp).
