Portugal comprehensive used collection in Schaubek album, a highly select collection that starts right at the beginning with choice examples of all the early imperforates complete with attractive cancels, issues are virtually complete to 1957, in fact in the regular issue stamps there is only one stamp missing, and the King Luiz and King Carlos issues show many perforation varieties, there are a couple of the souvenir sheets missing and most sheets present are mint, some n.h., also includes postage dues, officials, parcel posts, postal tax stamps and and franchise stamps and lack very few of being complete, the franchise stamps are largely mint, condition is excellent with the collector being very particular in this difficult area, not only concentrating on the soundness of the stamps but selecting attractively cancelled examples, the few mint stamps with o.g., uniformly fine-very fine or better; an excellent collection of a difficult country with total Scott value in excess of $20,000.00; examine.
