Lower Tugela
1895 (14 Nov.) envelope to Durban, bearing 1894 1d. dull mauve and carmine tied by a fine strike of the "lower tugela/zululand" double-ring datestamp, the reverse with Lower Tugela single-ring datestamp (14.11) and Durban (15.11) datestamps; some foxing around adhesive though a scarce cover proving the existence of post offices on both sides of the Tugela river, which was at one time thought doubtful.
