A specialised group of master die proofs, all in black on glazed card and comprising nine (all 82-92x60mm.) with seven dated between "Dec. 10, 1875" and "Dec. 17, 1875", and one stamp-size inset on thick card . A remarkable group, accompanied by photographs of two similar proofs in the Royal Philatelic Collection, illustrating the fine detail that was undertaken for this issue. Photo
