A new pocket plan of the cities of London and Westminster with the borough of Southwark comprehending the new buildings and other alterations to the year 1798; 21¾ x 11½ inches, limited original colouring.

Several pocket-size maps were produced in the 1700's and early 1800's. Copper engraving on laid paper with title in upper left corner and explanation in lower left corner and numbered "VII" in the top right corner. A very interesting map showing the limits of the development of the city.

Usual folding creases, deep printing and in remarkably fine condition. Rare. Photo
