1800 Gli Imperi Antichi Parte Orientale, by Giovanni Maria Cassini; 17½ x 23 inches, uncoloured.

An uncommon two-sheet map, published in the "Nuovo Atlante Geografico Universale", each with a decorative title cartouche, the first features a wild dog eating a child, the second with Egyptian statuary. By Giovanni Maria Cassini, a Somasco monk. He was geographer and cartographer but he was also good at engraving architectural items and perspectives.
