1921 (14 November) Royal Lease between the Duchy of Lancaster, The King to the Trustees of the Marriage Settlement of Sir William Bass a lease of Linbrook Farm and lands at Needwood in the County of Stafford. Signed by the trustees, one of whom was the Earl of Huntington. Includes a map of the property and a schedule of the lands (over 110 acres), the field system which survives today. With seal and complete impression of the Seal of King George V for the Duchy of Lancaster, in dark red wax with tin skippet
Sir William Arthur Hamar Bass, 2nd Baronet (1879-1952) was a British racehorse owner and a significant contributor to the racing industry. He also provided support for the British film industry in its early days. He was a direcor of the Bass Brewery
