1895 Rules and Instruction for Established Postman; H.M.S.O.; a 45 page booklet which outlines the way postmen were to behave on duty, includes extracts from the Post Office Offences Act including, " Every person who steal from or out of a Post Letter any chattel or money, or valuable security, may be sentenced to penal servitude for life." Board cover with cloth binding is rubbed and soiled and the inside covers with "Sydney Walter Gibson" written out several times. An interesting volume for the postal historian
