Edward VII as Prince of Wales
1863 (10 Mar.) the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Princess Alexandra at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. An attractive twelve page publication used in the Marriage, velvet covered board cover with gold tooling. The pages are printed on the finest quality card in red and black printing with gold edging. This copy has the bookplate of Calvert Lord Baltimore with his coat of arms (who was probably at the Royal Wedding). Size 7" x 10½". With a beautifully printed card of hymns sung that day, attractively printed in black, red and gold leaf, size 6½" x 10".The inside pages have become adrift and some slight fading of the cover.
Also 1864 (10 Mar.) the Baptism of Prince Albert Victor at Buckingham Palace; a very beautiful one page programme intended to be kept as a souvenir with impressive multicoloured and gold leaf Royal Coat of Arms which is also embossed. Text in blue printing. A fine detailed embossed boarder done to look like lace, 8" x 9¾". Photo
