William and Mary (1688-94), Shilling, 1693, gvlielmvs. et. maria. dei gratia, second conjoined, laureate and draped busts right, rev. inverted die axis, mag. br. - fr. et. hi. - rex. et. - regina., four crowned shields cruciform, six strings to Irish harp, interlinked WMs and date in angles, arms of Orange Nassau in centre, edge diagonally milled (ESC 1076; MCE 803; S.3437), the portraits weakly struck as usual, some metal flaws and flecking both sides, the reverse sharp, good very fine, old dark tone and with lustre
