1867 (Sept.) front and part back from Singapore to Amoy, marked "Per Str Behar", bearing 1½c. on ½a. (3, faults) and 2c. on 1a., all uncancelled, showing red and blue crayon "4", "singapore/p.o." double-ring d.s. and fine red "hong kong/paid" c.d.s. (18.9). Buff B.P.A. Certificate (1998) states "There is concensus that the Singapore cds is that of 11 September, but not that the adhesives form the original franking". Sold on its merits and not subject to return.
