1862 (Mar.) front from Singapore to Boston USA, bearing 1856-64 1a. brown, 8a. carmine and 1860 8p. purple on white paper bisected diagonally, each cancelled "B/172", showing London Paid transit c.d.s. (12.5), red "16/cents" accountancy h.s. and arrival c.d.s. (27.5); the front with addressee's name excised and the 8p. affixed over edge of envelope which has now been opened-out.
