"Appendix A" headed "Western Australia Postage Stamps, Existing and proposed Scheme of Colours" and dated "Sept. 28. 83", bearing 1882 CA perf 14 1d. yellow-ochre, 3d. red-brown, 4d. carmine, CA perf 12 2d. chrome-yellow, 6d. lilac and imperforate 1/- yellow-green marked "Existing colours" with the 3d. additionally marked "This colour need not be changed", alongside are one imperforate and five perf 12 3d. colour trials for proposed 1d. (rose), 2d. (grey; imperf), 3d. (purple-brown), 4d. (chestnut), 6d. lilac and 1/- (sage-green) denominations with that marked 1d. showing a tick alongside. A magnificent and colourful showpiece.
