1929-31 group of U.S.A. covers with 1929 (10 Mar.) envelope from Pasadena to Michigan bearing the handstamp "Damaged in Plane Crash/PARK CITY, UT 3-11-29/Dutton, PO Isp," in violet; 1930 (8 Jan.) envelope from San Francisco to Chicago bearing "Damaged by Plane/fire Sidney Nebr/JAN 10. 1030." in purple (vertical crease); 1930 (10 Jan.) envelope from Beverly Hills to New York bearing "Delay due to wrecked mail plane/January 10, 1930." in purple and "Return to writer Unclaimed" in greenish blue; 1931 (15 Sept.) 2c. stationery envelope from Tracy, Portland bearing, on reverse, "DELAY due to AIRMAIL/interrupted at/OAKLAND Ca/SEPT16, 1931" in purple.
