Edward the Confessor (1042-66), Penny, 0.99g, Pacx type, Stamord, Swart, diademed bust left, sceptre before, rev. +spert o:n stanf, voided long cross extending from central annulet, limbs terminating with a crescent, a letter of pacs in each angle (N.813; S.1171), surfaces with some porosity, has been cleaned and straightened with metal stress across bust, however, a very sharp bust on this and a tidy obverse, nearly extremely fine
