Anglo-Saxon, Post-Crondall types, c.655-c.75, Thrymsa, 1.23g, 'Two Emperors' type, bust right, pseudo-legend around, rev. emperors seated holding globe, winged victory behind (SCBI 63 BM, no.27; Metcalf 79-80; Sutherland 1948, type II.v; N.20; S.767), clearly a field find with some contact marks including light scratches to portrait, some wear on this but presentable and in good gold, very fine, the reverse better
