Charles I (1625-49), Double-Crown, 4.46g, Group D, Tower mint under the king, m.m. crown over bell/crown, crowned bust left, mark of value behind, rev. crowned and garnished oval shield with c r at sides (Brooker 162 - this coin; N.2169C; S.2702), general wear on this, more so on obverse, some fine detail remaining on portrait, russet tones in recesses, nearly very fine, the reverse better
