Celtic, Catuvellauni, Addedomaros (late first century BC), gold Stater, 5.44g, Spiral type, spiral wreath of six arms extending from three back to back crescents at centre, rev. horse right with ring pellet either side, cornucopia below, three horse muzzles above, inscription off-flan (ABC 2517; BMC 2396-2404; VA 1620; S.201), a field find, weakly struck on reverse, scrape to horse and also in reverse field, the reverse a better striking and above average for this type, good fine / good very fine
