Richard III (1483-85), Groat, 2.88g, m.m sun and rose 2, crowned bust facing, fleurs on cusps except above crown and on bust, saltire stops, rev. long cross, three pellets in angles, chevron barred a in tas, saltire stops (N.1679; S.2154), slightly irregular flan, mostly well struck with a superb portrait and reverse mintmark, good very fine, the portrait nearly extremely fine
