#3, 1865 5c Rose imperforate, a surprisingly fresh and choice mint example of this classic rarity, possessing margins all around, rich color and detailed impression, plus it still retains its full original gum, narrow paper h.r. along the top, small gum inclusion slightly showing through at lower right that is not even mentioned on the accompanying certificate, very fine; this single is regarded as being the second finest mint example in existence, in fact in the Burrus auction is was described as "probably the finest copy in the world of this great rarity;" 1979 BPA certificate;
