#15, 1859 5c Vermilion, single affixed partly over a clear strike of red oval "Legislative/Canada/Assembly" handstamp and tied by "Ottawa, C.W./Jan 12, 66" Berri duplex postmark to cover to Goderich, backstamped the next day at Goderich, portion of backflap missing, very fine; this Legislative Assembly handstamp was in use for only a year and this is one of only three strikes recorded on cover.
