1872 Unappropriated 5/- die proof in black on white card, this design is very similar to the shilling values for the 1888 Bechuanaland issue with different ornaments in the corners around the vignette, "May 24, 1872" and "Before Striking" handstamps and approval initials, fresh and extremely fine; unique in this form.
