Stamps of Pakistan were used from 29 December 1947 until 31 March 1948. Prior to the sale of the Nasik overprints a very small number of Indian stamps were handstamped "PAKISTAN" and they were on sale for only nine days though valid until 31 March 1948
1948 (9 Feb.) envelope to England bearing Nasik 1a. pair, 2a. and 4a. (2) sharing C36a "machine" style datestamp; a little worn and with central crease crossing one of the 1a. values though an attractive 12a. three colour franking. Photo
