Stamps of Pakistan with handstamped overprints of Muscat, although not sold at this office, were nevertheless valid for postage. Guadur remained a dependency of Muscat until September 1958
1949 (27 Jan.) 1½a. brown-purple envelope overprinted "Pakistan" by machine printing at Quetta, uprated with 1947 2a. red and 1949 2a. red, each neatly cancelled by double-ring datestamp. Very rare, being the first example recorded of Quetta overprinted stationery used at Guadur. Photo
