1888 (1 Dec.) envelope from Westport to Hokitika, bearing Sideface 2d. lilac cancelled by "w.t" duplex and showing a superb strike of the very rare circular-framed "missent/to/dunedin" handstamp, Dunedin (5.12) and arrival (8.12) c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with tears at top through opening, not affecting the Missent handstamp which is only the second example recorded on cover with one further example known on loose stamp.
