1864 (19 Dec.) envelope from Oamaru to Rangitikei, Wellington, bearing perforated 2d. pale blue Plate I worn cancelled "01" and showing a superb strike of the very rare "too late/dunedin" framed handstamp, Wellington (24.12) and "w13" (27.12) c.d.s., the reverse (flap faults) with part despatch and Dunedin (20.12) c.d.s.; only the second recorded example of the Too Late handstamp.
