1860 (3 Aug.) neat stampless mourning envelope to Brest bearing a good strike of "corps exp chine/bau central" c.d.s. with "10" rate mark alongside, the reverse with Marseilles to Lyon, Paris and arrival c.d.s.; horizontal crease at top and a few defects to the flap. This covers was carried ob the British ship "Cadiz" from Shanghai - the French packet was not in operation until 1862. Photo
