Bruce Lee’s Game of Death Jumpsuit The epitome of cool... Handmade to Bruce’s exact specifications by his tailor in Hong Kong, this unique flexible one-piece jumpsuit was designed to help illustrate the core principles of his revolutionary martial arts system, Jeet Kune Do. As JKD was a system without fixed positions, Bruce wanted to vividly demonstrate through his clothing that he was not affiliated to any traditional martial arts style or philosophy. He can clearly be seen wearing the tracksuit (one of only two made for him) during his celebrated pagoda fight sequences with Guru Dan Inosanto, Korean Hapkido master, Ji Han Jae, and 7ft 2in NBA basketball legend, Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who was also one of Bruce’s personal students. The jumpsuit is in its original condition and features finger prints on the right upper chest and left shoulder area. The zip fastener also sustained damage in Bruce’s high impact encounter with Hapkido expert, Ji Han Jae. Also comes with the original business card from La Moda Tailor Company in Hong Kong - the company Bruce contracted to make the jumpsuit. This iconic yellow and black jumpsuit was personally designed, commissioned and worn by Bruce Lee during the filming of Game of Death in 1972. It is a truly historic article that will define any collection. Ex Taky Kimura
