1895-98 "Tae Geuk" Issue
1897 (28 Jan.) envelope from the Russian Border Committee in Khasan with red seal on reverse, sent to Hansung (Seoul) and bearing, on the reverse, 5p. and 25p. paying triple rate and tied by very fine strikes of the type IIB Kyungheung datestamp with a further strike at left with part arrival c.d.s. An extremely rare and remarkable cover of the upmost importance.
