1899 (13 Apr.) opened-out envelope registered to Woosung bearing Koban 1883-92 2s. rose with 1888-92 3s. dull purple (2) and 4s. bistre tied by "fusan/i.j.p.&.t.o." c.d.s. with red on white registration label alongside, the reverse, with red wax seal of "royal corean customs/yuensan" with Shanghai datestamps of Japan and Chinese post offices and a good strike of Woosung bilingual dater (2.5, the earliest recorded example). A fine and interesting cover which is thought to be the only cover bearing the 3s. dull purple
